There was a time, actually a long time when I would paint non-stop, day in,day out. I was focused, determined, and man just a little crazy to work at the pace I did. The galleries loved it though and grabbed all I could finish.
I confess that outlining every leaf on a tree and on all trees may have had a bit to do with my change in focus to sculpture in the last few years so the painting inventory is waaaay down.
Dan and Daisy Byrd’s New Pass Fish Camp rested on the shore of New Pass at the bridge to Longboat Key, Florida.
The building and its surrounds are believed to be the most drawn and painted landscape in Sarasota from the late 1940’s until its demolition in the 80’s to make way for a new bridge.
